DL-α-Tocopherol
DL-α-tocopherol, also known as vitamin E alcohol, has a relative average molecular weight of 430.71. It is miscible with chloroform, ethanol, diethyl ether, acetone and vegetable oil, but is insoluble in water and is transparent to yellow viscous oil. It is a synthetic form of vitamin E. Because its vitamin activity was first identified in 1936 in an experiment on rat fecundity factors, it was named "tocopherol", it is a class of compounds that primarily exhibit vitamin E activity.

2. Product advantages
Comply with national pharmacopoeia standards: CP/USP/EP/JP;
Lower impurity residue: strictly control the residue of impurities and pollutants;
Good packing: the inner packing material is glass bottle, nitrogen protection, more suitable for injection.
3. Product Application
AntioxidantIt is a fat-soluble antioxidant that protects cell membranes from oxidative damage. It prevents cancer by reducing the level of free radicals, which can cause DNA damage. There are 9 naturally occurring forms of vitamin E, of which DL-α-tocopherol is the main form in the blood circulation. D-α-tocopherol is the only naturally occurring host isomer with maximum biological activity (1.49IU/mg), and the synthetic DL-α-tocopherol is completely racemic and has lower biological activity than D-α-tocopherol. The other isomers (β, γ and σ-) are less biologically active than D-α-tocopherol.
Preparation of DL-α Tocopheryl AcetateThe method takes DL-alpha tocopherol or a mixture of DL-alpha tocopherol and DL-alpha tocopherol acetate as raw materials, uses nitrogen-containing alkaline substances as catalysts, acetic acid or acetic anhydride or a mixture of acetic acid and acetic anhydride as acylating agents, and the esterification reaction obtains DL-alpha tocopherol acetate products. The preparation method of the invention is simple as a whole, has good operability, high yield, good product quality, and has little environmental and safety risks.
