- Glycerin is a clear, colorless, odorless, viscous liquid. The purity of the common pharmaceutical grade is 95%, and the purity for the injection grade is 98%.
Application Range- As a moisturizer and softener in topical preparations
- Oral solution as a solvent and flavoring agent
- Film coating and soft capsules as plasticizers
- Injectables as a solvent and isotonicity regulator
