  • Product Description
    • Phenylethanol is a clear, colorless liquid with aromas of rose oil. At present, phenylethyl alcohol is contained in the United States Pharmacopoeia, and the Chinese Pharmacopoeia is not included. It is managed in accordance with GB 1886.192-2016.
     
    Application Range
    • As an antibacterial preservative used in nasal, ophthalmic and otic preparations, the concentration is 0.25%~0.5% (V/V), often used in combination with other bacteriostatic agents.
    • Phenylethanol at a concentration of 1% (V/V) can also be used as an antibacterial preservative for topical preparations alone.
    • Also used as a component of condiments and perfumes

    Precautions
