- Hydrophilic water-insoluble polymer with both capillary action and water swelling, with extremely fast water absorption
Application Range- Tablets, capsules, granules, disintegrants, in the range of 0.5-5% in tablets, 10-25% in capsules
- Suitable for direct compression, dry granulation, wet granulation, usually 2% direct compression, wet granulation 3%
Product Advantages- The raw material is water-soluble sodium carboxymethyl cellulose, which uses a self-crosslinking process and does not use a chemical crosslinking agent.
- Extremely low ethanol residue, free of other organic solvents such as methanol and isopropanol
- Excellent disintegration performance at low dosages
- With excellent stability, the disintegration performance and release effect of the preparation will not change over time.
- Whether it is a hydrophilic filler or a hydrophobic filler, it produces a good disintegration effect.
- Disintegration performance is almost unaffected by tableting pressure and hardness, independent of pH and viscosity
- Compared with other products, Gedianfufu Pharmaceutical's croscarmellose sodium has faster water absorption rate and greater water absorption.
Precautions- When combined with sodium carboxymethyl starch, the effect is better, but the disintegration effect is reduced when combined with dry starch.
- Hygroscopic excipients can cause a slight decrease in disintegration performance
- Incompatible with soluble salts of strong acids, iron or other metals (such as aluminum, mercury, zinc)
